To attract and retain young talents, AIIB is building its talent pipeline through two programs: the Legal Associate Program and the Graduate Program. The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) offers recent graduates and early career professionals from diverse academic backgrounds the opportunity to contribute to AIIB’s mission to finance infrastructure for tomorrow, while developing valuable professional skills. AIIB’s Graduate Program, a two-year rotational program, will give successful candidates an opportunity to gain experience in one of the five streams: Investment, Finance, Risk Management, Strategy, and Corporate. It also has a parallel Legal Associate program for young lawyers who want to work with the Legal Department.
Analysts and Associates work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are mentored by specialists and experts in the field. The program has opportunities for professional and personal growth through Bank-wide workshops and trainings and project assignments.
AIIB introduced a Legal Associate Program (LAP) with the objective of forming, in house, young lawyers to cater to the Bank’s legal needs both for private and public sector operations. It is a rotational program which identifies, hires, grows and develops young talents of the highest caliber and with the passion for international development. The LAP will start with a two-year contract based in Beijing within the Legal Department (LEG), where the Legal Associates (LAs) engage in intensive training (on-the-job and in-classroom settings) on the fundamentals of lawyering at AIIB on development operations.
