IT System Analyst – Application Maintenance and Delivery

The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is a multilateral development bank whose mission is financing the Infrastructure for Tomorrow—infrastructure with sustainability at its core. The IT Infrastructure, System and Database Team is responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and maintaining the foundational technology components and systems that support AIIB's IT environment. This team ensures that the IT foundation is robust, secure, and aligned with business needs. AIIB continues to advance its digital presence and is looking for IT System Analyst with experience in application system support, maintenance and delivery to facilitate the robust and secure operation of the AIIB’s application systems and foster operational readiness and promoting growth in technical support and maintenance within the application technical domain.

Responsibilities:

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conduct comprehensive research on industry best practices and standards.
  • Explore on emerging technologies, industry trends, and market developments.
  • Support lifecycle management of application technical components in terms of server-less components, middleware, and database management, etc.
  • Support early screening of potential enhancements and innovations.
  • Support the preparation of comprehensive documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational readiness, healthy operation, efficient delivery and sustainable growth of application systems, fostering seamless integration and functionality.
  • Contribute in the creation and operation of models that enhance monitoring and observability, provisioning and orchestration, delivery and deployment, resilience, and data protection, etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field of Computer Science or Information Technology.
  • Minimum 2 years (for Bachelor’s degree holders), or 1 year (for Master’s degree holders) of relevant experience in delivering or maintaining application systems at commercial/investment banks, professional/engineering/consulting firms, and/or international financial institutions.
  • Good understanding of operating systems, middleware, databases, and public clouds such as AWS and Azure.
  • Experience in SRE or DevOps practices will be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in a programming or scripting language for application development or delivery will be an advantage.
  • Relevant certifications in middleware, databases, public clouds, DevOps, etc., will be an advantage.
  • Effective interpersonal and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills in English.
