SECTION I: JOB PURPOSE:

The corporation is currently in search of a highly experienced Senior Project Manager with a distinct focus on IT Change Management. This pivotal role revolves around ensuring the successful execution of IT projects while actively overseeing changes to improve organizational efficiency and adaptability. The selected candidate will play a key role in driving the achievement of project goals and enhancing the overall effectiveness of IT initiatives.

SECTION II: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Project Leadership:
    • Lead and oversee end-to-end project management processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
    • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for IT initiatives, considering change management requirements.

     

  2. Change Management:
    • Design, implement, and manage effective change management strategies for IT projects.
    • Assess the impact of changes on technology, processes, and personnel and develop mitigation plans.

     

  3. Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and change management needs.
    • Facilitate communication and engagement strategies to ensure successful change adoption.

       

  4. Risk Management:
    • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to changes in IT projects.
    • Implement robust risk management processes to address potential issues and ensure project success.

       

  5. Resource Management:
    • Allocate resources efficiently, considering both project and change management requirements.
    • Ensure that project teams are adequately prepared and trained for changes introduced.

       

  6. Quality Assurance:
    • Establish and enforce project and change management standards to ensure high-quality deliverables.
    • Conduct regular reviews to assess performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

       

  7. Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project and change management documentation
  • Provide regular reports on project status, change implementation progress, and key metrics.

SECTION IV: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Master's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or any related field
  • Advanced degree or certifications e.g. PMP, ITIL
  • Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager with a focus on IT projects and change management, preferably in the financial industry
  • In-depth knowledge of ITIL principles and methods of Enterprise Architecture
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with change management tools and methodologies
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-pased environment

Language Skills:

  • English and Arabic are compulsory
  • French is preferable

 

Years of Experience:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience
