Context
At this critical juncture for Small Island Developing States (SIDS) development, SIDS youth should play an active role, uniting their respective voices toward a common goal. The aim of the questionnaire is to collect information on the issues and topics SIDS youth feel are most pressing as data collected will aid in determining most frequent/recurring responses in general, across various regions, age groups, and sex/gender.
Task description
For the collection of data on the perspectives of SIDS Youth we seek support from six Online Volunteers, who under the guidance of UNOPS New York will: - Discuss the most accessible and appropriate data collection methodology - Propose an implementation plan to distribute the questionnaire - Identify and screen data sources by region - Conduct data collection using the defined methodology (questionnaire) and tools from selected sources - Create/prepare a report capturing the findings The Online Volunteers will have the opportunity to learn about the ways in which data can support the dialogues behind and outcome of the 10-Year Programme of Action for SIDS (2024-2034).
