HR Analyst

The HR Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting the HR Operations functions in Chile, focusing on policy compliance and contributing to strategic HR initiatives. This includes execution of HR Operational activities in Chile and active involvement in the review of HR practices and procedures.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities shall be:

  • Provide recommendations utilising data-driven insights, regarding updates and changes to HR practices and procedures, to address the impacts of cross organisational initiatives, e.g. the Assembly Integration and Verification phase of ELT and the Integrated Operations Programme.
  • Participate and collaborate in the implementation of the new ERP, recommending improved workflows and procedures to optimise HR operations processes.
  • Collaborate and follow up with HR Operations team to ensure flawless and on-time execution of all HR Operational activities in Chile.
  • Ensure maintaining accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation in electronic personnel files for staff working in Chile.
  • Follow up special contractual conditions for staff in Chile, triggering the correspondent procedure to update and formalise the renewal / change of condition.
  • Prepare employees' documents (i.e., employment letters, reassignments, change of duty station, change of working schedules) ensuring templates are updated and new ones created as necessary to streamline processes
  • Administer the registration processes at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for members of personnel coming to Chile, keeping theirs and their dependents' status updated on duly time.
  • Manage the education grant claims process for staff working in Chile.
  • Manage the recognition of years of service process for staff in Chile.
  • Provide coverage /support during the absence of other HR Operations team colleagues and the Deputy Head of HR

The above responsibilities are not exhaustive and a flexible helpful approach and willingness to adapt is essential

Key Competences and Experience:

Essential Competences and Experience

  • At least 5 years of working experience, either in an HR Business partnering role, or administrating core HR processes, or managing key performance indicators including collecting, analysing, and presenting HR related data to management.
  • Highly proficient in Office tools (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Proficient in using an ERP platform

Desirable Competences and Experience

  • Change management, project management, knowledge of ERP implementation

Qualifications:

University degree with specialization in Business Administration and/or Human Resources. Evidence of continuing professional development will be an asset.

Language skills:

The position requires a working level proficiency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken communication skills)

The initial contract is for a period of two years with the possibility of an indefinite extension, subject to performance evaluation and operational needs. The title or grade may be subject to change according to qualifications and the number of years of experience of the selected candidate.

Duty Station:

The duty station is Santiago. Applicants should be resident in Chile, in or around Santiago.

Career Path:

This position has been assessed to be in Career path IV which covers A5 and B2 grades.
