Mission and objectives

PHAAE is a non-profit organization duly registered in Nigeria working on issues affecting women and children in the areas of Water & Nutrition, Sanitation & Hygiene. Our motivation is on empowering women and girls to lead healthy and meaningful lives. Our Mission PHAAE aims at eradicating health inequalities and water poverty in Nigeria by working more on water, sanitation and hygiene issues in the nation and by providing rural dwellers with access to clean water and affordable sanitation facilities. We share a joint cause with the united Nations in the implementation of Sustainable Goal 6, Clean Water and Sanitation.Ultimately our purpose is to contribute to the eradication of poverty by tackling existing health issues which could easily have been avoided by making clean water, nutrition and decent sanitation facilities available for all. Vision Is of a Nigeria & Africa where women ang girls from all communinities are empowered to lead healthy and fulfilling lives in safe, healthy and disease free conditions. Context

PHAAE have been involved in various community development projects in Nigeria and in that matter, it wanted to gain world recognition by attracting more volunteers to join through the UNV portal and participate meaningfully to develop Nigeria which is listed as one of the third world countries in the world. The contribution and improvement of PHAAE website will serve as a tool to promote PHAAEs aim and objective and also the website can be used as a marketing tool for the range of sustainable and community-based projects PHAAE is currently implementing, which all contribute to the SDGs. With better website improvement and visualization, PHAAE will be able to share our work and innovations more effectively in Nigeria and beyond. For online volunteers, this task is a chance to use and grow their skills to support the community development in Nigeria remotely. They will help build a website that makes a difference and learn about the real-world impact of digital tools in development. The online volunteers will be issued a certificate after the completion of the task.

Task description

We are looking for 2 online volunteers to assist in creating and designing a website for marketing platform, that serves as a platform to help our volunteers in Nigeria and Africa at large to harness developmental programmes of MDF and gain NGO experience through the website. The task simple involves creating a website and designing a marketing platform respectively by the ideal volunteers in collaboration with the Nigerian team. The volunteers will benefit from the reference from MDF and the certificate of appreciation from UNV.
