UNRWA Digital Impact, Technology, and Innovation Department (DITID) is seeking an experienced Web Application Specialist with expertise in ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, and other programming languages to work on Web application Systems. The consultant will report to the Head Software Development Section and Lead Solution Architect (HQ-Amman).

Duties and Responsibilities
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Under the direct supervision of the Head Software Development Section and Lead Solution Architect, and in close collaboration with the application development team, the selected UI/UX consultant will be responsible for the following tasks: • Develop visually appealing and consistent designs that align with UNRWA brand guidelines and user expectations. • Choose appropriate color schemes, typography, and imagery that complies with UNRWA look and feel and branding guidelines to enhance the overall user experience. • Collaborate with developers and designers and other stakeholders to integrate visual elements to the software systems. • Create wireframes and prototypes to visualize and communicate design ideas. • Iterate and refine prototypes based on user feedback and testing. • Ensure that wireframes accurately represent the information architecture and user flow. • Design intuitive and user-friendly interactions to enhance usability. • Define and implement interface animations, transitions, and micro-interactions. • Ensure a seamless and enjoyable user experience across different devices and platforms. • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, product owners, and business analysts. • Communicate design concepts and decisions effectively, both visually and verbally. • Performs other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Academic Qualifications: • University degree from an accredited educational institution in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. • At least 6 years of progressive experience as a UI/UX design with a portfolio showcasing successful projects and a strong understanding of design principles. • Demonstrated experience in UI/UX design with a portfolio showcasing successful projects and a strong understanding of design principles. • Strong focus on technologies .NET Core, C#, MSSQL Server, Transact-SQL, HTML, CSS, and front-end frameworks such as React, Angular and Microsoft Blazor. • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap and Tailwind, and other front-end development technologies to effectively collaborate with development teams. • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. • Fluency in written and spoken English is required. Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage. • Experience in modern application development platforms and databases. DELIVERABLES • Functional Dashboards that meet the specified requirements and design specifications. (25%) • Data warehouse dimensional Model that aligns with the analytical data requirements. (25%) • Deliver well-organized and documented source code for the application, adhering to coding standards and best practices. (20%) • Testing and Quality Assurance Reports: Conduct thorough testing of the application to identify and fix bugs, ensuring a high level of quality and reliability. (20%) • Deployment Package that includes all necessary files and configurations for deploying the application to a production environment.
