Overview of position:
During the 6 month internship the candidate will work in the safety & security department. This is a role for someone who aspires to work in the Duty of Care (DoC) space in either the humanitarian or private sector.

Role objectives:
Conducts research into relevant Duty of Care (DoC) topics to support the business.
Writes articles & posts on DoC topics for CTG countries of operations.
Support in country safety & security teams on areas of priority.
DoC event planning & handling.
Visit to a CTG country of operation to conduct field research.
Support the Global Risk Manager on DoC related tasks.

Project reporting:
This role will report to the Global Risk Manager.

Key competencies:
Must be a recent graduate in international relations, global security or political science.
1 year of experience in security servcies / industry is desired.
Must be fluent in English.

Team management:
This role has no team management responsibility.
